The Sue Ryder Team Endurance Charity Challenge

The Sue Ryder Team Endurance Charity Challenge

On Saturday 28th March 2015, Daytona Sandown Park is delighted to host the inaugural Sue Ryder Team Endurance Charity Challenge. The brain-child of Andrew Pirie, who’s mother Sheila passed away ten years ago from cancer, the event aims to raise £10,000 for Sue Ryder who provide patients like Sheila with expert neurological and hospice care.

For just £150 inc VAT, plus a donation of £190 to Sue Ryder ( via the event’s dedicated just giving page athttps://www.justgiving.com/sueryderenduro ), you can enter a team of four drivers and help us raise funds for this superb cause.

Daytona Motorsport will provide everything needed for you to race in the event, including all safety equipment, a thorough safety briefing and a Sodi RT8 390cc kart for each team. Entry includes lunch for all drivers and there will be soft drinks available throughout the event – including Gatorade to help power drivers to the chequered flag.

Whilst the event will feature some pro-drivers with International Racing Driver Johnny Mowlem already confirmed on the grid, the outcome of the race may be decided by clever use of the teams’ Charity Jokers rather than drivers’ outright speed around the 900 metre circuit. Spectators are welcome to come along and support your team. There will be a charity raffle and opportunities to meet some of the people from Sue Ryder and learn more about the wonderful work they do.

For just £85 per driver, including your donation to Sue Ryder, this event offers excellent value for money – If you want to enter a team into this exciting race and help us raise £6,000 for this amazing cause, call Mark Wimblett on033 033 278 70
