The InKart Championships
Our InKart programme at Daytona Lydd International is the perfect way for experienced drivers to participate in competitive racing against other enthusiasts, without the prohibitive expense and inconvenience of running their own kart.
It is designed for experienced adults and advanced juniors who have graduated from our Race School. Race School graduates are also eligible to join our InKart Club*.
The InKart Championship is held on the last Sunday morning of the month, from January to December. It incorporates various weight classes ensuring a level playing field. The championship is contested over 9 rounds using the half circuit. The format at each meeting involves 2 x 30 lap sprint races. Race 1 is preceded by an 8 min qualifying session to determine the grid line up. For Race 2 the grid line up is determined by best lap time classification from Race 1. Medals are awarded to podium place finishers at the end of each round and trophies are presented to overall championship winners at the end of the season. Please contact Daytona Lydd for more information on how you can join our InKart Club and compete in the championship. Juniors will need to graduate from Junior Race School to be allowed to compete. * All participants of the InKart championship and members of the InKart Club qualify for special offers and discounts.
