OPEN KARTING RACES

The range of open events at Daytona Manchester is designed to offer exciting competition between individuals, teams or groups in a safe, controlled environment.

We offer a number of different formats to suit your requirements and taste, from five lap races to endurance races lasting several hours. Whichever event you chose, these oen events provide a competitive race for all ability levels. Please note that all open events require pre-booking and payment in advance.

DAYTONA 90
90 minutes of high-octane excitement normally held on weekends, our Daytona 90 open event accommodates up to 12 teams of 2-4 drivers each racing to complete the most laps in the time. Daytona 90 is ideal for stag and hen parties, birthdays and other small groups.

DAYTONA 2 HOUR
A two hour team endurance race, suitable for up to 14 teams of 2-4 drivers. With plenty of circuit and pit-stop action, outright speed on the circuit is not as important as teamwork, communication and staying out of trouble. The winners are the team that complete the most laps within two hours of non-stop, exciting racing.

DAYTONA GRAND PRIX
Our Grand Prix race is an individual knockout tournament, with each driver having practice laps followed by three five-lap heats then an eight-lap semi-final.  A 10-lap final is held for the 10 highest scoring drivers. Trophies are awarded to the top three drivers in the award ceremony in the bar after the racing.

LADIES' NIGHT
Ladies’ night is a Grand Prix open race run exclusively for ladies and usually takes place monthly on a Friday evening. Ladies’ Night provides the opportunity for some competitive racing and a lively atmosphere with other like minded ladies.
