The 2012 Season

There will be many familiar faces back once again to challenge for this year’s title, but we would also like to extend a warm welcome to all drivers that are new to InKart at Daytona Milton Keynes. Drivers are always welcome to join the season at any point so please make all new competitors and spectators very welcome throughout the year.

The season will comprise of 11 rounds, with the top 9 scoring rounds to count to the Championship.

Daytona runs a season on our 900metre National Circuit for budding Junior and Cadet drivers. Drivers in both classes compete in 3 heats and a final. Points are received in each race for the drivers finishing position, and these points are combined to give a total for the round.

For more experienced Junior drivers and Senior drivers alike, we run a championship on our 1360 metre International Circuit. Senior drivers are divided into light and heavy classes to ensure a level playing field. All drivers on International compete in our twin engine Prokarts, equipped with two 200cc 4 stroke Honda Engines that allow the karts to reach speeds of up to 65 mph.

As with the Juniors, all drivers compete in three heats and a Final and points are received in each race for the drivers finishing position, and these points are combined to give a total for the round.
