JUNIOR & CADET KARTING EVENTS

Daytona Milton Keynes : Junior & Cadet eventsKart racing is the best and safest way for young people to learn the disciplines of motor sport. In fact, you will find that most successful racing drivers today began their careers in this exciting field.

Daytona Milton Keynes offers our North circuit as a specially-designed Junior Circuit that enables aspiring racers to learn the craft in a safe, yet challenging, environment. You can choose between a number of race events for cadets and juniors* at Daytona Milton Keynes:

Arrive & Drive sessions provide valuable practice** for cadets and juniors after school, during school holidays and at weekends.

Junior Parties deliver a full safety briefing followed by classroom tuition before the racing begins, initially behind a pace kart for safety and confidence-building. We can also additionally provide certificates, decorations and party bags.

Dayton Bambino Karting

Bambino Karting is available at all of Daytona’s Race Venues for drivers aged 5-7 years. Following on from our experience with Junior and Cadet Karting, we have launched Bambino’s to provide younger drivers with the opportunity to experience the thrill of controlling a race kart – but in a safe, closely managed environment.
The Karts
Daytona Bambino’s drive state-of-the-art CRG Karts, with Honda 35cc four stroke engines. Whilst capable of speeds of up to 25 mph, the karts are strictly governed for younger drivers.
The Circuits
All three venues have designed and built dedicated beginner circuits for the Bambino Experience. The circuits are surrounded with Europalight barriers that provide the maximum safety for drivers. Once drivers have proved their ability and kart control, they will be considered for Advanced sessions on the venues’ main Cadet Circuits.
Availability
Bambino Karting will be available throughout school holidays, on most weekends and on selected weekdays during term time.
Arrive&Drive
Individual Bambino Arrive&Drive Sessions offer drivers the chance to complete a series of kart control and driving modules. Each module costs £20 and last approximately 30 minutes. This includes a comprehensive safety briefing, specially developed crash helmets and race suits and supervision by experienced race marshals. Drivers will be invited to show their kart control via a series of handling modules.

Race School provides young drivers with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to progress safely into racing at an early age. It involves five learning modules, including classroom theory and on-track practice, covering different aspects of kart racing. Graduates of our Race School can move on to join our InKart Club and participate in the challenging InKart Championships. Junior Race School is scheduled during the school holidays and places are limited, so pre-booking is essential.

Cadets & Juniors can enjoy further benefits if they take up our annual Junior Membership.
This delivers significant discounts on Sunday morning Juniors Club sessions plus 10% discount at Grand Prix Racewear, our on-site retail outlet.
