PRACTICE - ARRIVE AND DRIVE
Practice sessions are ideal for beginners to try kart racing and serious competitors to hone their skills. Practice gives the opportunity to try different lines and braking points in order to become quicker. Practice sessions should be pre-booked and availability changes on a weekly basis and it is best therefore to phone the venue to check availability. All laps are timed and printouts are provided to drivers at the end of the session.
Subject to availability, Daytona Sandown Park offers practice sessions on the GP circuit for drivers aged 16+ and on the Indy circuit for drivers aged 8 to 15. These sessions must be pre-booked and availability changes on a weekly basis. Any driver under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; where this is not possible, drivers should contact the venue and arrange for a parental consent form to be completed.
The price includes all safety equipment, a video briefing and laptime printout.
* Cadet drivers must be at least 125cm tall (4 feet 1 inch). Junior drivers must be 142cm tall (4 feet 8 inches). Adults not permitted on track at the same time as cadets and juniors.
