The Daytona 2017 Business Team Challenge Is Announced

Daytona Motorsport is pleased to announce The Business Team Challenge 2017 is now open for entries – do you work for the fastest company in your region?

Now in its fourth year, The Business Team Challenge seeks to find the fastest team in each region and offers companies a unique opportunity to team-build and to network with other local companies. Over 750 companies have raced in the Daytona Business Team Challenge over the last three years – is 2017 going to be the year you prove you work for the speediest team in your region?

Each of Daytona’s circuits hosts a number of qualifying rounds between May and October, with the top teams from each qualifying race earning themselves a place on the grid for the Regional Finals in November. The Regional Champions will each win an exclusive race event for up to 20 people at their local Daytona circuit this Christmas.

Daytona Business Team Challenge Races are one hour team endurance races, only open to teams of three drivers. Following the driver briefing, each team driver gets a few laps to familiarise themselves with the circuit before each team nominates their first driver to grid up for the race start. Over the next hour, all three drivers must drive in the race – and the winners are the team who complete the most laps by the time the chequered flag drops. The top four teams in each qualifier at our outdoor circuits automatically qualify for the Regional Finals in November. At Daytona Manchester, the top two teams at each round qualify for the Regional Final.

Entry to the Daytona Business Team Challenge costs just £100 plus VAT per team of three drivers. Teams must represent a business in the region – but companies may enter as many teams as they want and, if your team fails to qualify for the Finals, then you are welcome to enter another qualifying round to give yourselves another chance to make the grid for the Regional Finals.
