Daytona Tamworth’s 2017 InKart Championships start on Sunday 8th January 2017.
With separate classes for Cadets, Juniors and Seniors, the InKart Championship comprises 11 rounds (Jan-Nov) with drivers’ best 9 rounds counting towards the championship.
Usually held on the first Sunday of each month, Round 1 is held on 8th January due to New Year’s Day falling on the 1st Sunday. The Daytona Tamworth InKart Championship gives drivers the opportunity to race in a professionally run kart-racing championship without any of the hassle or expense of owning their own karts.
The Cadet and Junior Championships for drivers aged 8-15 years include practice laps, three heats and a Final for all drivers and Daytona provide everything needed to race. Drivers under 16 must be Daytona Race School Graduates.
The Senior Championship for drivers aged 16 and over* has a brand new racing format for 2017 – with Super Pole Qualifying, two ten minute heats and a 15 minute Final.
*Drivers aged 14 or 15 who have adequate racing experience or are Daytona Racing School Graduates may compete in the Senior Championships, subject to approval by the Race Director.
Entry costs just £50 inc VAT for Cadets & Juniors and £60 inc VAT for Seniors.
