Daytona Tamworth is delighted to announce the arrival of a brand new fleet of Rotax-powered karts at the Midland’s premier kart racing circuit. The brand new DMAX-GT karts are the first and only fleet of Sodi’s excellent high-performance karts in the UK – and you can be amongst the first to drive them as you can now book to drive one from Wednesday 26.7.17
Combining Sodi’s hi-tech racing chassis design with Rotax’s amazing EVO 125cc two-stroke engine along with state-of-the-art safety features, the DMAX-GT offer the more experienced driver the opportunity to race in a high-performance racing kart on the 1000m GP Circuit in Tamworth – and you can book your first test-drive now as the brand new karts will be used for all DMAX-GT Arrive&Drive and Open Races from tomorrow (Wednesday 26.7.17).
Always looking to innovate and to offer the enthusiast drivers the very best racing equipment, Daytona launched their first DMAX 125cc two-stroke karts back in 2008 at Daytona Milton Keynes. In 2015, Daytona offered drivers the first chance to race in the latest Rotax EVO spec engines and now, in 2017, Daytona are the first to launch a fleet of the new Sodi GTMAX karts in the uk – under the Daytona DMAX-GT brand.
Richard Brunning, Daytona Technical Director, has worked closely with Sodi to ensure that the fleet of new DMAX-GT karts offer drivers the very best balance between performance and reliability: “The brand new DMAX-GT karts are a major step forward for Daytona – as Daytona Tamworth remains the only circuit in the Midlands where the more experienced kart racer can just turn up and race in Rotax powered, high-performance karts.”
