Team BRIT return for the 2026 season with their most ambitious campaign to date, fielding teams across three separate championships and welcoming a new intake of rookie drivers. As the world’s only competitive team made up entirely of disabled racing drivers, their mission remains as powerful as ever:
“To support, inspire and motivate people facing physical and psychological challenges by demonstrating what can be achieved through motorsport.”
This year marks a major milestone in the team’s journey, as they take on GT3 competition for the first time, the highest level they have competed at so far. It’s a significant step towards their long-term goal of becoming the first all-disabled team to race at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours.
Alongside this exciting progression, familiar faces return to the grid. Long-term Team BRIT drivers Aaron Morgan and Daytona alumnus Bobby Trundley reunite once again following several successful seasons in GT4. The duo will continue behind the wheel of the McLaren 570S GT4, competing in selected rounds of the Britcar Endurance Championship.
Off track, Team BRIT continue to make a lasting impact through their community outreach initiatives. Their popular behind-the-scenes days at the Sussex HQ offer young people, charities, and disability organisations a unique opportunity to experience the team’s inspiring story, cutting-edge technology, and inclusive ethos first-hand. Plans are also underway to launch the team’s first-ever youth academy, further strengthening their commitment to developing future talent.
The team’s full 2026 race calendar is now live, with race updates and behind-the-scenes content set to be shared across their social channels throughout the season.
Team BRIT’s campaign gets underway this Saturday, 21st March, at Donington Park, where they will compete in the opening round of the Britcar Championship, with Bobby Trundley once again taking to the track.
With eight months of racing ahead, Team BRIT are preparing for another landmark season, pushing for podiums, breaking down barriers, and continuing to redefine what’s possible in motorsport.
You can follow their journey throughout the season and show your support via their social channels and website.
