Cadet Division 2
The first heat started with Samuel Halle-Hinxman in pole, Henry Stoney in second and Rhys Safo in third. Henry Stoney got a great start and was able to defend to the eager drivers behind. On the opening lap, there was an incident at Turn 4 which involved most of the drivers on the grid. Halle-Hinxman stayed strong in the lead and extended his lead to 5 seconds by the end of lap three, helped from the opening lap incident. Rupert Versallion and Daniel Cebula showcased a good battle fighting for third position with Versallion beating Cebula to the line. Halle-Hinxman took a successful win with Rhys Safo and Versallion behind.
The second heat started with Cameron Bernard in front, George Barker in second and Kian Gamiao behind. Once again, Stoney got a tremendous start, proving his fast reaction times at his second InKart round. By Turn four, Stoney out braked his fellow competitor and was able to progress into P5. At the same corner, George Barker gained the lead and then led the pack around the opening lap. Safo made a progressive start, getting into P2 by lap 2 and positioning himself in first by lap 5 with a brilliant move at Turn 10. Safo completed the heat in first place, with Halle-Hinxman in second and Barker in third.
Versallion started in pole for the final heat. Alex Ivanov started in second with Luca Brooks in third. Brooks got a good start and got into P1 on the first lap. Four karts were nose-to-tail in the opening laps, the closest heat of the day. Harrison Leach lost control at Turn 4, which unfortunately dropped him to P5. He didn’t give up though and started to set competitive lap times, being the second fastest driver out on circuit. He was able to promote to P4 by the end of the heat. Versallion took the win after Brookes lost the lead on the last lap. Barker finished second, with Bernard in third.
The drivers were split into two finals, B and A. Stoney lead the first final which consisted of 4 drivers after Ivanov withdrew. The lack of drivers didn’t hinder the quality of racing with all drivers showing clean and competitive racing. There were many position swaps with Stoney and Leach out front leading the group. Stoney showed great defending and was able to keep Leach behind him. After Leach made a mistake at national, Stoney had clean air and was able to take the win. Brooks finished in second with Leach in third.
The A-Final started with Safo in pole after collecting the most points from the Heats. Halle-Hinxman started in second and Versallion started in third. Halle-Hinxman got into the lead early on with Barker promoting himself into second position, on a charge to catch the leader. They worked together to create a 5 second lead by lap 4. After a minor collision during the middle stage of the race, the karts bunched up and Stoney was able to utilise and get into the Top 3. He held onto 3rd place after defending off Gamiao for multiple laps. The two karts swapped positions, much like the battle with the top 2 drivers, Halle-Hinxman and Barker. At the end of the 11-lap final, Halle-Hinxman won by only 0.313 seconds to Barker. With Stoney finishing 0.032 seconds in front of Gamiao, Stoney taking 3rd place.
Junior Division 2
Heat 1 started with Arjun Ghirra on pole, Oliver Metrovich in second place, with Charlie Croston in third. Croston started well, gaining a place at Turn 2 after diving in the inside of the corner. Merely a few corners later, Croston gained P1 at the National complex and then was able to open up clean air. He maintained his position on track and finished 1st for the opening Junior heat. The battle for P2 built up with 3 karts racing around Turn 1. Metrovich got good momentum out of Turn 3 and took P2 at Turn 4. Ben Southgate, a clear top runner contestant, lost control of the kart which unfortunately saw him drop to 8th place, without enough time to catch back up. Croston took a 2.8 second win, Metrovich in second and Adam Thomas in third.
The second heat started with Fernando Otabil in pole, Liam Crabb in second and Lloyd Kay in third. A battle soon commenced for P3 as Metrovich and Croston started switching positions on the opening laps, showcasing competitive driving. An impressive move by Croston promoted him 2 positions up on lap 5 enabling him to move into P2. Though, by the end of the heat, Fernando Otabil gained second position. On the last lap, the top 3 drivers drove closely, finishing only 0.6 seconds apart. Metrovich won, with Otabil in second and Croston in third.
The final started with Metrovich on pole, Croston in second and Otabil in third. Croston didn’t delay and got into the lead by lap 2. He began pumping in fast lap times and started to create a lead. Metrovich and Southgate began to catch Croston as a bid to challenge for the lead. As a 4-kart battle began for P1, Croston started to drive defensively to hold on to the top spot. On lap 7, the lead changed as Metrovich took Croston at T1 after a good run out of the last corner. The top 3 karts were inseparable in the closing laps. Metrovich took the win by only 0.3 seconds to Croston. Thomas took third place.
Cadet Division 1
Heat 1 started with Eddie Key on pole, Joshua Jones in second and Sam Cole in third. Cole promoted himself into the leading position by the end of lap one after an impressive start. Kasper Marriott saw a gap on the last corner and was able to move up the grid. During the middle of the heat, an incident occurred between Jones and Marriott. This dropped the two drivers down the leader board. Marriott let Jones past so a penalty was not issued. Cole extended his lead to 2.7 seconds, though, it was McWilliam who set the pace in the heat clocking a staggering lap time of 58.245 seconds. McWilliam and Coburn had a great battle for 3rd place with Coburn beating McWilliam to the line at the end of the heat.
Heat two started with Ryan Hedge on pole, Riley Bishop in second and Marriott in third. At the start of the heat, there was a jump start by Ryan Hedge, meaning a penalty was issued. Bishop caught up to Hedge by Turn 4 and took the lead from Hedge. Cole also got a good start being able to move up two positions within the first 5 laps into P5. Cole continued to progress until he got into second, there was no time to fight for 1st. Bishop finished in the lead. With Coburn being promoted to 3rd place after the a 5-place penalty was awarded to Hedge.
The final started with Cole on pole, Bishop in second and Coburn in third. Hedge and Jones were the only drivers to make progression on the first lap. Cole started to create a gap from the start, by lap 4 he had a significant gap of 6 seconds as those behind battled. McWilliam showcased some impressive lap times by clocking in the fastest lap of the final; a 56.963. This took him from 5th on the grid to 2nd by the end of the final, the driver with the most progress. By the closing laps most of the karts were spread out and settled, apart from the battle that was occurring in the middle of the grid. Bishop, Hedge and Marriott were switching positions with Bishop beating the other two to the line, separated by a mere 0.3 seconds. Cole took the win, McWilliam in second and Key in third.
Junior Division 1
The first heat started with Kip Morgan in pole, Armandas Pocevicius in second and Archie Styant in third. Hood got a tremendous start and moved up to P3 on lap 1 from 6th on the grid. From the back of the grid, Jack Stewart moved into P5 on lap 1 and progressed to P3 by lap 5. Hood made it into 1st on lap 3 and then was able to create a gap to the other drivers. By the end of the heat he led by 5 seconds, this helped from a battle for 2nd involving Morgan, Stewart, Pocevicius and Styant. Morgan finished the battle in front, taking 2nd place, 0.4 seconds in front of Stewart who wrapped up the top 3.
The second heat started with Hood in pole, Joe Williams in second and Daniel Watson in third. Hood was able to get an easy win in the previous heat but Williams wasn’t going to let him get away in this heat. Williams and Watson followed Hood around the first lap, close together. Putting pressure on the leader in a bid to force him into a mistake. Yet, Hood remained calm and clocked in consistent lap times, not allowing anyone past. Hood was able to take the win from Williams by 0.3 seconds, a closer race than Heat 1. Bettie and Morgan showcased a good battle at the back of the grid switching positions for 5th. Watson finished third.
The final heat for juniors started with Stewart in pole, Bettie in second and Matthew Plumb in third. Plumb got a good start and moved into 2nd place. Plumb and Stewart began to work together to distance themselves from the rest of the grid. Bettie began pushing to catch up to the top 2 drivers, however, he had William on his tail putting pressure on. William was able to get past Bettie to make it into 3rd position. Stewart was able to create a gap to Plumb and take the win by 2.7 seconds. Williams finished in 3rd.
The first final started with Watson on pole, Pocevicius in second and Bettie in third. The start of the final was closely competitive as 3 karts were racing around Turn 3 on the opening lap. Kallum Batts had a great few opening laps as he was able to challenge for P3 by lap 3 at Turn 11. Whilst Batts and Styant were having a close battle, Watson was able to extend his lead to 3.8 seconds by lap 7, which was increased to 5.3 seconds by the end of the final. The battle between Batts and Styant was building in intensity, though, an ABC was called and Batts received a 5-place penalty as a result. Watson finished in first position, Bettie in second and Styant got promoted to 3rd after the penalty was awarded.
The A final for Juniors started with Hood in pole after two successful heats, Stewart started second and Williams third. After the lights were out, Hood and Stewart got a good start and Stewart tucked behind Hood and the two focused on getting away from the rest of the pack. This showed as successful as they extended a gap of 5 seconds by lap 6. Plumb, who started in 5th position on the grid, drove to P3 by lap 2 after some impressive overtaking manoeuvres. Though; Watson, who was promoted from winning the B-Final, wasn’t letting Plumb walk away with 3rd position. He chased down Plumb and took him for position 3. However, on the last corner of the race, Plumb took Watson and was able to take third place by 0.240 seconds. Stewart was unable to get past Hood, Hood took the win by 0.4 seconds.
Super Pole Qualifying Results

The grid for the first heat was set out as the results from qualifying. Mayor starting on pole, Taverner in second and Fenton starting in third. In the middle of the pack, Williams soon got on the tail of Sauvan and was challenging for P10. At the front, Mayor started to create a gap to the karts behind after getting a good start, although Taverner wasn’t letting Mayor get out of his sights. Taverner started to challenge Mayor’s lap times and was able to stay with Mayor around the first heat, however, Taverner wasn’t able to get past Mayor resulting in him finishing second. Tillyer got a good run out of the last corner to catch the back of Fenton in an attempt to take P4, although he was unable to pass Fenton, he finished 0.3 seconds behind in 5th. Mayor took the win to Taverner who placed second, 0.6 seconds behind first. Rosenfield finished in third, rounding up the top 3. Fossey successfully took the win in Heavies after a close battle with Donnelly.
Heat 2 started with a reverse grid from Heat 1. This meant that Williams started on pole, Anthony Fletcher in second and Maddy Withers in third. By lap 2, Williams gained a 3.8 second lead to position 2, an impressive start. James Costin displayed some impressive defensive driving, keeping the trail of karts behind him for position 2. Mayor, the heat 1 pole sitter, was climbing up the grid as he started last place for heat 2, however, he got caught in an incident at Turn 4 which subsequently lost him time to his competitors, he did manage to climb back up to 8th when the chequered flag dropped. An impressive drive from Rosenfield amounted to a 2 kart overtake on lap 6, enabling him to take P2. He was 1 second quicker than other drivers on the grid but a mistake at Turn 10 lost him momentum, he was unable to challenge for the lead. Simmons finished in third. Barry Weller took the win in the heavies.
The final started with Rosenfield on pole, Taverner in second and Mayor in third. The top 3 got away and were battling from the moment the lights went out. Taverner tried for the lead at Turn 9 of the first lap but to no avail, Rosenfield then had a minor slip at Turn 10 which allowed Mayor to get side to side with Rosenfield, but Rosenfield closed the door and Mayor was unable to progress. After a few laps, Rosenfield was able to get out in front and lead Mayor and Taverner around. Most of the karts were settled by lap 7 with a battle for 5th getting heated. Williams, Simmons, Lawrence and Fenton were locked together and finished only 0.5 seconds apart from each other. Near the end of the race, the top 3 fought hard again with a clash between Rosenfield and Mayor, this allowed Taverner to get a break and finish 4.2 seconds in the lead. Rosenfield beat Mayor to the line. Donnelly won the heavies with Fossey in second, only 3 seconds behind. Barry Weller finished in third in the Heavies category.
