THE NEW SEASON OF INKART IS AVAILABLE TO BOOK NOW

The Inkart Championship returns 4th April at Daytona Tamworth

9 ROUNDS competing against the best junior and adult amateur outdoor go-karting drivers in the Midlands.

The format of the Championship has been designed to give drivers as much track time as possible. Each driver will compete in a 10 minute practice and 3 x 10 minute heats in each round and points will be awarded for their heats finishing positions.

After all 10 rounds, a drivers’ best 8 scores will contribute to their overall points total.

There are 4 categories to choose from:

Cadets

  • 8-11 years of age
  • Biz 160cc go-karts
  • £77.50 per round (+ InKart membership required at £50 for season)
Juniors (DMAX-GT)

  • 13-17 years of age
  • DMAX-GT 125cc Rotax Max Evo engine go-karts
  • £119 per round (+£50 InKart membership required)
  • Races also qualify for the SWS Championship
Juniors (RT8)

  • 12-17 years of age
  • Sodikart 390cc go-karts
  • £87.50 per round (+InKart membership of £50)
  • Races also qualify for SWS Championship
Seniors

  • 18+ years old
  • DMAX-GT 125cc Rotax Max Evo engine go-karts
  • £119 per round
  • All races will qualify for the SWS Championship

 

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT

If drivers book any round more than a month before the race date, a £10 discount is applied on their race fees. Book the whole season now and save £90.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Cadet Biz 160cc

  • Drivers must be 8-11 years of age
  • Any child that has raced any of the first 3 rounds prior to turning 12 years of age may continue to race in the cadet class upon turning 12 provided they still fit in the kart safely.
  • A driver MUST
    • Have graduated from Championship Induction or
    • have a comprehensive racing history with Daytona and complete a 1 hour 1-2-1 assessment

Junior RT8 390cc

  • Drivers must be 12-17 years of age
  • Any child that has raced any of the first 3 rounds prior to turning 18 years of age may continue to race in the junior RT8 class upon turning 18.
  • Drivers aged 12 & 13 MUST
    • Have graduated from a championship Induction or have a comprehensive racing history with Daytona and complete a 1 hour 1-2-1 assessment
    • Complete a Junior RT8 Assessment (not required if a Daytona Tamworth championship induction or a 1-2-1 in an RT8 has been completed)

Junior DMAX-GT 125cc Rotax

  • Drivers must be 13-17 years of age
  • Any child that has raced any of the first 3 rounds prior to turning 18 years of age may continue to race in the junior DMAX-GT class upon turning 18.
  • Drivers aged 13-15yrs MUST
    • Have raced in a minimum of 6 SODI RT8 races prior to entry (13yrs will be inkart races, 14yrs & 15yrs can be Inkart or open RT8 races)
    • Complete a Junior DMAX-GT Assessment
  • All drivers will race in one race category with a minimum weight of 65kgs*.
  • Any drivers who weigh less than 65kgs will be required to weigh up to this level.
  • When determining the weight of a driver, all relevant race clothing, including helmet, suit, gloves, boots, knee pads and seat inserts may be weighed.
  • There will be a trophy awarded at the end of the season for the best placed heavy-weight driver.
  • Anyone weighing over 75kgs will be eligible provided they have completed the minimum 5 race entries.
  • We can provide ballast up to 22.5kg + a seat insert at 2.5kg if required

Senior DMAX-GT 125cc Rotax

  • Drivers must be 18+ years old
  • All drivers will race in one race category with a minimum weight of 85kgs*
  • Any drivers who weigh less than 85kgs will be required to weight up to this level
  • When determining the weight of a driver, all relevant race clothing, including helmet, suit, gloves, boots, knee pads and seat inserts may be weighed
  • There will be a trophy awarded at the end of the season for the best placed super-heavy driver.
  • Anyone weighing over 95kgs* will be eligible provided they have completed the minimum 5 entries.
  • We can provide ballast up to 22.5kg + a seat insert at 2.5kg if required
