Long straights, tight hairpins and elevation changes are all familiar to Daytona Tamworth devotees. But now, the renowned Midlands circuit has evolved. The brand-new International layout injects a sharper, more technical dimension into the Daytona Tamworth experience, a configuration designed to challenge even the most experienced regulars.
From the starting line, drivers are launched into the winding straight, climbing and falling through the natural elevation that defines Daytona Tamworth. Momentum builds quickly before the circuit draws you into a long right-hand bearing, flowing at first, before tightening its grip into the first 180-degree teardrop hairpin. Swinging left, the challenge intensifies. A second, tighter hairpin dramatically drops speeds, compressing the pack and creating the kind of wheel-to-wheel moments that have electrified our most hotly contested championship races. As drivers navigate the flowing technical section back toward the pit lane, the rhythm shifts again. The new infield addition, a sharp cut back across the start/finish mark, introduces the most demanding element of the lap. A tight new hairpin off the straight that forces precision, patience and perfect exit speed, rewarding discipline and punishing overconfidence.
Already put through its paces in wet racing conditions, the International layout has been refined by our kart testing team and later trialed by motorsport aficionados and Daytona champions alike at a recent content creator Grand Prix. Hailed as highly technical, injecting pace and precision into our classic format. The introduction of the International Layout to endurance events and championship formats promises to shake up established race craft, challenge familiar racing lines and bring a new tactical element to long-format competition.
Whether you’re a seasoned championship regular or chasing your first podium, the challenge has changed. The International Layout is live now at Daytona Tamworth.
It’s time to take your place on the grid and experience it for yourself.
