Several Daytona competitors have gone on to enjoy successful careers in Motorsport, including Sam Bird, who last weekend made history by becoming the first Formula E driver to win the New York E-Prix for the third consecutive year running which propels him in to first place in the Championship.

We're always proud of all our Daytona juniors that come through our ranks but there's always something very special about some of our elite-level drivers progressing to victories on the international stage.

We wish Sam and his British Jaguar racing team, all the very best for the rest of the season. Rounds 12 and 13 of the 2020/21 Formula E championship will take place in Britain on 24 and 25 July 2021.
