Daytona Tamworth (near Birmingham) has introduced a NEW Championship race series starting on Sunday 25th October. Categories are available in cadet, junior and adult classes. To reserve your place on the grid for the NEW 'Sprint League', please call 033 033 27870.

All races are sprint races – 10 minute practice + 20 minute race
Double points for the first 3 rounds and the last 3 rounds
A driver's top 10 scores are counted towards the Championship (8 rounds minimum to qualify)
A driver can race in multiple race classes (if eligible)

Requirements
A driver MUST
Have graduated from a championship Induction or
Have a comprehensive racing history with Daytona and complete a 1 hour 1-2-1 assessment
Complete a Junior RT8 Assessment (not required if a championship induction or a 1-2-1 has been completed)
A junior Inkart Membership is required (£35 per annum)
13 - 17 years old
Junior DMAX-GT
£80 per round
Max 15 drivers per round
Requirements
A driver MUST
Have raced in a minimum of 6 SODI RT8 races prior to entry
Complete a Junior DMAX-GT Assessment
Be a junior Inkart Member at a cost of £35
All drivers will race in one race category with a minimum weight of 60kgs.
Any drivers who weigh less than 60kgs will be required to weigh up to this level.
We can provide ballast up to 22.5kg + a seat insert at 2.5kg if required
There will be a trophy awarded at the end of the League for the best placed heavy-weight driver (anyone weighing over 70kgs)
ADULT FORMATS
Senior RT8 (15+ years old)

Drivers must be 15+ years of age.

Senior DMAX-GT (18+ years old)
£80 per round
Drivers must be 16+ years of age.
Max 30 drivers per round
Minimum weight of 85kgs* (We can provide ballast up to 22.5kg + a seat insert at 2.5kg if required)
There will be a trophy awarded at the end of the League for the best placed 'super-heavy driver' (anyone weighing over 95kgs* will be eligible provided they have completed the minimum 8 entries)
