We are looking to recruit a Track Team Manager for our award winning flagship venue at Milton Keynes who will be responsible for managing the Track operation and direct management of the track team on a day-to-day basis.  The successful applicant will have the ability to maintain a high standard of performance and safety for our customers and colleagues.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the General Manager and will have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form in a friendly, confident and professional manner at all levels and to Race Direct (manage, monitor and run) events with the ability to deliver an entertaining, exciting and safe experience for our customers.

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate experience in managing and developing a team, ensuring that the entire team pull together to deliver Daytona’s renowned customer service and safety levels as a key element of the role. This position will be reporting directly to the General Manager.

A passionate advocate for the customer experience, you will identify and evaluate operational processes and implement change whilst inspiring and engaging your team to deliver smooth and safe Race events and to successfully execute the role by setting high standards and leading by example at all times whilst demonstrating the ability to apply common sense and problem solving skills.

You will manage a team of 20 staff and be responsible for the recruitment, induction and training of newly appointed staff whilst maintaining continued development for the existing team in accordance with Company and Statute requirements. You will work closely with team members to ensure that they are given the necessary tools and help in their career progression. You will have an eye for detail and must be a strong delegator with excellent time management, people management and organisational skills.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to effectively lead our small catering team and to deliver and maintain a high quality service throughout.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will be managing a team on a day to day basis and will be responsible for providing excellent food & service.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of the management and the administration of the catering operation, you will also have hands on involvement in food preparation, production and presentation.
  • You will be responsible for a small yet busy and friendly environment with cooking, preparation and serving as well as the normal day-to-day kitchen duties. You will also be responsible for running the kitchen and managing the café and bar areas.
  • You will be responsible for managing and organising special functions as required
  • You must have the ability to establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with guests, colleagues and suppliers at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation

Go Kart Mechanic/Engineer – Daytona Milton Keynes

Location: Daytona Milton Keynes, MK13 8NP

Hours: Full Time & Part time positions – MUST be able to work evenings & weekends

As a Go Kart Engineer/Mechanic you will be required to carry out all aspects of the day-to-day maintenance of our kart fleet, ensuring that the Engineering workshop is tidy at all times and you work safely and to the Company’s standards. You must ensure all target expectations are met. You will report and fully communicate to the Head of Engineering at all times.

The successful candidate must :
• Have mechanical experience within the automotive / motorsport sectors.
• Be flexible and able to work evenings & weekends in addition to weekdays.
• Be able to follow instruction quickly and effectively.
• Be highly motivated and work well in a team.

• Ensure that the karts are maintained to the highest standards of safety.
