Daytona is delighted to announce a €1million investment in new karts for all of our circuits. As the UK votes to leave the EU, we have placed orders with Sodi, Europe’s leading manufacturer, for new Sodi RT8s for each of our tracks and Daytona circuits in Sandown Park, Manchester and Tamworth have already taken delivery of their new fleets!
Available now for you to drive, the state-of-the-art fleets will be used for all Exclusive Races, Open Races and Senior Arrive&Drives at our circuits and will be used for all Senior InKart Championship races.
The new fleets replace the popular Sodi RT8 fleets launched in 2014 – and again uses the Honda GX390cc four-stroke engine (200cc at Daytona Manchester) combined with Sodi′s superb chassis design to provide a exciting and reliable kart capable of over 50mph.
All of our Sodi RT8s have seats and pedals that can be adjusted so that we can provide a comfortable, safe driving position for drivers of almost any height and the specially designed wraparound bumper system protects drivers in the event that they collide with other karts or the circuit barriers.
Manchester, Tamworth and Sandown’s karts are proving very popular with both beginners and experienced drivers as are Daytona Manchester’s brand new fleet of Sodi LR5 Cadet karts for drivers aged 8-15 years – whether they are beginners or already racing in our Advanced Juniors and InKart Clubs.
Daytona Milton Keynes isn’t being left out but, as the venue has the youngest fleet of Sodi RT8 karts, they will be replaced early in 2017. We have already confirmed the order for 35 new RT8 karts for MK with the Sodi Factory in France.
If you would like to be one of the first to drive our new karts, please book online or call us on 03303327870 to reserve your test drive of the brand new karts.
