A COMPETITIVE TASTER RACE FINISHES WITH ASTON UNIVERSITY TAKING THE SPOILS
The Fox brothers, Thomas and James, were the winners in yesterday’s taster session to launch the brand new University League being held at Daytona Tamworth.
In a fiercely contested session which proved difficult for racers to post fast times in wet conditions, it was anything but a friendly – with Aston beating De Montfort by just 8 seconds after an hours racing. The ultra-competitive contest set the tone perfectly for an extremely exciting six round competition which officially kicks-off on the 12th December.
Official Results:
1st Place: Aston University (Thomas Fox and James Fox)
2nd Place: De Montfort University (Sam Lovelace and Jonny Knight)
3rd Place: Birmingham University (Rory Smith and Sam Rowling)
