About the experience

Bambino Karting provides younger drivers with the opportunity to experience the thrill of controlling a race kart – but in a safe, closely managed environment. Bambino karting is available to kids aged 6-7, but all drivers must participate in an Induction before they are able to book into Bambino practice sessions.

We provide everything your child needs to start their journey into karting!

MANDATORY BAMBINO MODULE 1:

Event Name/Booking Code: Bambino Module 1

Format: 20 minute session

This 20 minute module is one part of a comprehensive education for your child on how to handle a go-kart. Both modules must first be completed in order for your child to be eligible to take part in any Bambino Practice or Advanced practice sessions. In this module, attendees learn how to brake, corner and drive under the watchful eye of the experienced instructors and marshals running the session.

MANDATORY BAMBINO MODULE 2:

Event Name/Booking Code: Bambino Module 2

Format: 20 minute session

This 20 minute module is the second part of a comprehensive education for your child on how to handle a go-kart. Both modules must first be completed in order for your child to be eligible to take part in any Bambino Practice or Advanced practice sessions. In this module, attendees learn the rules of racing, what the flags, lights and boards mean and what to do if they spin. They are under the watchful eye of the experienced instructors and marshals running the session. The induction finishes with a certificate presentation and an invite to return for Bambino Practice sessions.

BAMBINO PRACTICE:

Event Name/Booking Code: Bambino Graduate Practice

Format: 20 minute session

Once you’ve completed both Bambino Modules, the next step is to join our Bambino Practice sessions. These 20 minute sessions are held on the same North Circuit as the modules and give your child the perfect stage to practice and hone their karting skills. We provide a comprehensive safety briefing, all equipment and the session is supervised by experienced race marshals.

BAMBINO ADVANCED PRACTICE:

Event Name/Booking Code: Bambino Graduate Practice

Format: 20 minute session

This session is for children ages 6-7 who have experience with racing in our bambino practice sessions and want to drive with others of a similar ability. In order to take part in this, your child needs to be assessed and approved by a race director in a bambino practice session. We provide a comprehensive safety briefing, all equipment and the session is supervised by experienced race marshals.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult at all times.
